Just a few photos from our last trip to the Saburai mission, Timor Leste showing you the monastery
and some of the activities around the monastery undertaken by the brothers including cleaning, cooking, working in the garden and some building jobs. You will notice some very good artwork painted by one of the young brothers on the walls at the main gate of the monastery.

Every Saturday afternoon, about 275 children from the leper end of Saburai attend catechesis and English classes, during which the brothers cook food for them with snacks. All of these children are very poor and struggle to be fed daily. On the Saturday that we were there, they also each received a gift of an exercise book and a pen for their schooling.
