As usual, Christmas at the MOP monastery is celebrated with children of Labuan Bajo, and this year the celebration was held on Thursday, 28 December.
We wish all a very happy and blessed New Year
You may recall that when we visited the mission early this month we purchased food for the celebration plus 500 gift bags with pens, pencils, exercise books and treats. The following images of the celebration will give you an idea of what it is like to cater for 500 children. Needless to say, a very good time was had by all.

Dear Tina and Trevor, thank you for the update of the Christmas celebrations at Labuan Bajo. Beautiful photos of the children and the celebrations. The wonderful but extremely time consuming job done in purchasing the gift for the 500 children. I have enough trouble selecting and buying and wrapping for our 20 grandchildren and two foster children.
The smiles on the faces of those children is a joy to behold. A huge blessing and prayers for the brothers and priests who work tirelessly for the children. Congratulations also to you both on all the work you do. May God Bless you all. Traudi and John. 🙏
