Following on from our last post of preparing the food parcels for the elderly people at Saburai, the food parcels were distributed first to the elderly at the lower end of the village.

This took most of the day to distribute the parcels. Br Anthony drove the vehicle and with the help of Br Francis, Br Giovani and the local chief of the community we delivered around 80 food parcels.

The images here tell the story of the joy that the local people experience when receiving a food parcel just to make their life a little better.
