Dear Mission for the Poor follower,

This month we visited the mission in Labuan Bajo, Flores.

Our primary objective for this visit was to purchase food and gifts for 500 local children that are invited to the mission Christmas feast held at the monastery on 28 December 2024, the Feast of the Holy Innocents. As usual with Labuan Bajo, there are no surprises, especially with the shopping experience. Some stores are now modern and well organised while others, to say the least, have not changed over the 15 years we have been visiting Labuan Bajo. Stock take in these latter stores must indeed be a challenge. This will be our first shopping post so stay tuned for some more shopping experiences.
