We kept shopping, this time to the local market place to buy the serving boxes for the food for the children’s Christmas party, and bags to use for the Christmas gifts.

The market is a busy place with temporary stalls and many small shops, and yes the shops are also a little disorganised. Just to get a little more shopping in, we stopped off at a computer store where we purchased two laptops for the mission.

Next time we will feature the Christmas party at the monastery for 500 local children on the feast of the Holy Innocents on 28 December.
