Each Sunday afternoon the brothers at the mission provide a catechesis and English class for the local children of Labuan Bajo.

Food is an important component of the afternoon and the Superior of the mission Br Anthres even provides a transport service to take all the children home after the lesson. It is vital for these young children to be introduced to English and catechesis. English is such an important language for future job prospects for these children, especially in Labuan Bajo where there are many tourism jobs that are dependant on a good command of the English language.
