Visit by Fr Ho Lung to Ambrose Treacy College, Twigg St, Indooroopilly. On the morning of 14 July Fr Ho Lung addressed students of the middle school. Mr Conor Finn, Dean of Identity at the college, introduced Father, whose address was about the need and importance for every Christian to be grounded in service for the least of our brothers and sisters, just as Christ had served the poor and afflicted.
As expected, Wynton and his music were very popular with the students, in addition to the conga drum. On the evening of the same day Fr Ho Lung addressed friends of the college in the Chapel of St Joseph on how the Missionaries of the Poor is ‘A light for the poor in the new millennium as urged by Pope Francis’. Father was introduced by Mr Conor Finn and the event was followed by book signing and sales of MOP merchandise, and our handmade rosaries.
