Postulancy ceremony for 19 aspirants (Part 2) 23 June 2016

This is Part 2 of the postulancy ceremony held at the monastery in Labuan Bajo on 23 June 2017. This ceremony was held to honour the 19 young aspirants that gained their postulancy within Missionaries of the Poor. The photos below tell the story of the ceremony. It started with a lot of practice by the aspirants and the candidates, followed by the ceremony, which was officiated during the celebration of the mass, celebrated by the local Bishop Emeritus. After the completion of the mass came dinner, followed by considerable entertainment, singing, native dance and some comedy, with lots of dancing well into the night. The last image shows Br Nerlito congratulating all the young postulants and candidates for a job well done.
