Christmas 2021 was celebrated at the Labuan Bajo mission with several hundred local children coming to the festivities for food, entertainment and gifts.
The cost for the party was partially funded by generous donations from Australia. Due to Covid-19, the number of children this year was reduced than the number that normally come. You will notice the first photo which shows the blue belt professed brothers that are now assigned to the Flores mission. Following this in the next couple of photos are the young Indonesian boys who are now novices, not being able to travel to the to the novitiate in the Philippines due to Covid-19 travel restrictions.
We trust you enjoy the photos of the happy children (and brothers) and we will see you next time when we report on the Christmas celebration held at Maliana in Timor Leste.
Stay safe and all God’s blessings
Trevor and Tina
