Welcome back to the mission in Labuan Bajo and we take another look at the visit by Fr Nev Yun and the pilgrims. This time they visited some local Labuan Bajo families. These families have children whose educations are being sponsored by families in Australia. The sponsorship program is organised jointly by the brothers at the mission and MOP associates in Brisbane. The annual sponsorship amount pays for the education of these children with the annual contribution by sponsors as payment for school fees, uniforms, books and transport. No administration fees are taken from the amount paid such that 100% of the sponsorship money goes to their education costs.
