For those who have been following the Flores Mission since its beginning in June 2010, you would know Br Emmanuel Kagaba who was the pioneer Mission Superior. He left Labuan Bajo in August 2015, being transferred to Timor Leste where he provided support to the new MOP mission in Saburai near Maliana. In July 2016 he commenced his studies for the priesthood, initially completing his degree in philosophy in Toronto, Canada in July 2018. He has now started his long-distance degree (from Jamaica) in theology at Franciscan University at Steubenville, Ohio.
So that’s what Brother is up to and we wish him every success with his studies. God bless him. We pray that soon it will be Father Emmanuel!
