In late October this year, three brothers were assigned to the Timor Leste mission. One of the brothers you will know well, direct from Jamaica and previously one of the pioneer brothers of the Flores Mission,

Br Nerlito Dioneda Jr. The three brothers (Brothers Nerlito, Andy and Giovanni) flew from the Philippines into Dili, with Br Elmer who was returning from his home visit in the Philippines. The four brothers spent five days in quarantine in Dili before travelling to Maliana.

Their arrival in Maliana was a special event with with two girl dance troupes from the two schools in Maliana and Saburai. Br Nerlito is taking up the position of vocations officer for the Timor Leste mission and Br Andy will be supervising the building of the monastery as soon as the wet season ends. Br Giovanni will be replacing Br David who will be transferred from the Timor Leste mission. Br Elmer will continue his nursing and dental work for the local people of the two villages.

Trust you will enjoy the images and next time we will be reporting on the final arrival of the container from Brisbane to Dili and the unloading of the goods from the 24 cartons.

Blessings to all

See you next time
